A Warrant of Fitness isn't just a legal requirement — it's peace of mind that your car is safe on the road. Our qualified technicians carry out a thorough WOF inspection and will walk you through anything that needs attention before any work is carried out.
If your car doesn't pass first time, we can carry out the repairs on the spot in most cases — saving you time and a second trip.
Vehicle Servicing
Regular servicing is the single best thing you can do to keep your car running reliably and avoid costly repairs down the track. We recommend combining your service with a WOF where possible — it saves time, and our technicians cover everything in one visit.

Got a warning light on your dash? An electrical fault you can't track down? John is a qualified auto-electrician — a skillset that's rare in independent workshops. We can diagnose and repair a wide range of electrical faults that other mechanics simply can't.
Auto Electrical Diagnostic Consultation: $120
(Covers up to 30 minutes and a scan tool fee. This is your starting point — repair costs are quoted separately once the fault is identified.)

Brake Inspections & Repairs
Brakes making a noise? Or just want peace of mind? Our technicians inspect brakes as part of every WOF and service — but you can also bring your car in for a dedicated brake check at any time.
We'll tell you exactly where your brake pads and discs are at, how much life is left, and whether anything needs doing now or can wait.

Air Conditioning Service & Regas
Not as cold as it used to be? We offer air conditioning servicing and regas to keep your car comfortable year-round. Book it in alongside your next service or WOF for maximum convenience.
Air Conditioning Service From: $175 (Base labour rate. Refrigerant and any additional parts are charged separately and confirmed before work begins.)
Seasonal Safety Check
Whether it's winter, spring, or summer — a seasonal safety check is a quick and affordable way to make sure your vehicle is ready for the road ahead. We check the things that matter most for the season and give you a clear picture of where your car is at.
Seasonal Safety Check (Winter / Spring / Summer): $115
(Covers labour. Any fluids, filters, or parts identified during the check are quoted separately before work proceeds.)

Misfueling — Wrong Fuel Drain & Flush
It happens more than you'd think. If you've put petrol into a diesel vehicle (or vice versa), the most important thing is: do not start the engine. Call Hawke's Bay Towing on 876-7531 and they will bring your vehicle directly to our workshop. We'll drain the tank, flush the system, and get you back on the road as quickly as possible.
Drain & Flush — vehicle not started From: $300. Vehicle has been started and run Additional repairs required — assessed and quoted on arrival.
